Democratic leader calls McCarthy shameless over his leaked audio blasting Trump — Rep. The leaked audio of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in the days following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, in which he indicated support for some House Republicans to lose their Twitter accounts, shows the Republican leader is shameless, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries said Wednesday.

Jeffries, a New York Democrat, told reporters at the Capitol on Wednesday that “the radical-right playbook is simple.”
