Obama to make first campaign stop with Clinton

President Barack Obama will make his first appearance on the campaign trail with new presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton next Wednesday in Wisconsin.

During the joint appearance in Green Bay, Obama is set to argue we should be “building on the progress we’ve made and their vision for an America that is stronger together.”

Obama declined to endorse his former secretary of state until the very end of the primary, in an attempt to remain impartial in the process. But after meeting with Bernie Sanders in the White House on Thursday, Obama released an official endorsement video in which he says “I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office” as Clinton.

Before making her way to Wisconsin, Clinton will campaign in Ohio on Monday and Pennsylvania on Tuesday. The president is expected to continue campaigning for Clinton between now and the November general election.
