LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — University of Louisville officials say it will cost about $175,000 to clean up from flooding on May 29, when four inches of rain caused several streets to close and morning classes to be cancelled.

University officials say the Chemistry Building was the only Belknap building to suffer substantial water damage. The Courier-Journal reported (http://cjky.it/K0ffTM ) that some flooring and baseboards are being replaced, but most of cleanup costs come from overtime pay to university employees and the hiring of a contractor to clean the Chemistry Building basement.
