Mitch McConnell: DACA fix will not happen this week, year

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said a legislative fix to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program will not happen this week or this year.

“Sen. [Chuck] Schumer and I have discussed it. We will not be doing DACA this week. That’s a matter to be discussed next year,” the Kentucky Republican said on Fox News on Tuesday before the Senate votes on a major tax reform bill.
