Secretary of Education-designee Betsy DeVos went to shake Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s hand after her confirmation hearing Tuesday but was denied by the first-term Bay Stater.
DeVos had an often-times contentious hearing in front of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Tuesday. Afterward, she shook hands with several of the senators who questioned her and made conversation with a few.
But, when she reached out to Warren, Warren waved and continued walking.
