Police arrested three people in connection with three unrelated murders on Friday, D.C. police said.
DeAngelo Jose Garner, 24, of District Heights, was charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 30 shooting death of Antonio Valdez Vela, 22, of Waldorf. The shooting occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on the 4400 block of F Street SE.
Marlon Williams, 31, of D.C., was charged with first-degree murder in the Sept. 18 slaying of Min Soo Kang, 37, of Dunn Loring. Kang was found dead from gunshot wounds at about 4 a.m. on the 3500 block of Croffut Place SE.
Damon Antonio Sams, 22, of D.C., was charged with second-degree murder in the Sept. 18 killing of Ashley McCrae, 21, of the 1300 block of Columbia Road NW. McCrae was shot on the 2700 block of Bruce Place SE at about 3:30 a.m. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died.
