Clinton the Hitman

I was all ready to draw a Fred Thompson cartoon today — my editor, Mark Tapscott, had OK’d the idea and everything — when the image of Bill Clinton as a mob hitman popped into my noggin. So, I quickly sketched it out, made a photocopy and offhandedly showed it to Mark, who ended up really liking it. I went with the Clinton idea because stories on the former president’s attacks against Barack Obama are everywhere now, so Bill’s behavior will be fresh in readers’ minds when they pick up The Examiner and read my cartoon.
