Greens inhale helium, read Trump tweets on global warming

Environmentalists are finding Donald Trump’s past tweets on global warming funny — especially with the help of helium.

The Sierra Club released a video Thursday afternoon showing people reading past Trump tweets about global warming after inhaling helium, giving them unnaturally high-pitched voices.

Many of the individuals who read the tweets end up breaking down in laughter, but the video ends with a more cryptic message.

“Denying climate change might sound funny,” reads a graphic, “but voting for a climate denier is not.”

The video ends with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton delivering an applause line during a Florida rally with former Vice President Al Gore calling climate change real and an urgent issue.

The Sierra Club is among a number of environmental groups that have worked hard to defeat Trump during the 2016 election. The environmentalist group views Trump as a danger due to his promises to increase fossil fuel use, increase energy production on federal lands and pull out of the Paris Agreement on climate change. Many scientists blame the greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels for driving manmade climate change.
