Scoop! Brangelina twins: Have they vanished?

Star just keeps stooping lower and lower in its sensational stories about the Jolie-Pitt clan. (OK, and we just keep repeating them.) This week’s cover story screams “Where are the twins?” and points out that Knox and Vivienne, born in July, haven’t been spotted in months.

A reasonable person might conclude that if a frenzied mob of paparazzi were desperate to score multimillion-dollar photos of your babies, you’d keep them under wraps. Star, on the other hand, declares that the July-born sibs have not one, not two, but “a long list” of health problems.

“They haven’t been the healthiest babies,” a source says of the youngest pair of Brangelina’s six kids.

And adventurous Angelina has apparently morphed into a nervous Nelly: “Angie is being neurotic with Knox and Viv,” one source dishes. “She won’t let anyone near them without sanitizing their hands and taking off their shoes.” Another seconds, “She’s really freaking out.”

First of all, Knox and Vivienne are 6-month-old infants! Should we really be concerned that they’re not walking the red carpet yet? Second of all, we’re highly skeptical about any tabloid cover that also features the line “Barack & Michelle: White House baby! They’re hoping for a boy.” Uh-huh. Sure.

BFF Brush-off

Getting hot and heavy with the CEO of MySpace wasn’t the only way Paris Hilton allegedly caused a scene at the Sundance Film Festival. The New York Post reports that the heirhead has already stirred up drama with her “new BFF,” Brittany Flickinger, who won the MTV competition for that label.

At the indie film fest, Paris glommed on to former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day and “kept ditching Brittany for Aubrey,” a source told the paper. Friday, the new pals ditched Brittany at one bash and snuck out to another across the street. When the bereft BFF finally tracked them down at 2 a.m., “she was crying and screaming, ‘Paris, stop leaving me!’”

We’re devastated too — who’d have thought that a friendship born on a reality show would go sour so fast?

Lovers’ Quarrel?

As Scoop! has reported, Megan Fox raised some red flags on the red carpet at the Golden Globes when she announced that fiancé Brian Austin Green was MIA because “he doesn’t want to be my date. I don’t think he cares.”

Now, In Touch claims to have unearthed the dirt behind a fight that led to him standing her up.

According to an insider, the blowout occurred because the “Transformers” star had agreed to accompany her beau to his pal’s Vegas birthday party the night before the awards, then attend the Globes together … but “at the last minute, Megan didn’t want to go because she felt the Golden Globes were much more important and didn’t want to be tired.”

The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star reportedly “couldn’t believe” his gal pal had reneged on her commitment to attend both events.

But Brian tells the tabloid that “Megan and I are fine,” and explains that he didn’t join her “because she was only presenting.”

Riiight. Because presenting an award at the film industry’s second biggest ceremony of the year is so not a big deal. We wouldn’t bother showing up to support our partner either.

Amy: Life Saver

A woman who nearly drowned after being thrown from a boat found an unlikely guardian angel in … Amy Winehouse. Come again?

Yep, the U.K.’s Sun reports that the “Rehab” singer, still on her perma-vacation in the Caribbean, spotted a woman who was knocked off a boat during a sailing lesson, and rescued her from being carried off by the tide.

“A 6-foot wave caught the boat and I went flying and hit a rock,” Louise Williams said. “Amy was on the beach 20 meters away and she ran across immediately and said, ‘Let’s have a look at you.’”

“I was bowled over by her kindness,” the woman added. “She went out of her way to help me. … It shows there’s another side to her.”

Amy remarked simply, “I thought she was going to drown.”

Finally, Amy uses her complete lack of fear of death for good!
