A man charged with falsely imprisoning and torturing his girlfriend for more than a month in Finksburg was sentenced after pleading guilty to previous charges of assault and improper use of a credit card.
Carroll Circuit Judge Thomas Stansfield on Thursday ordered William Thomas Parrish III, 25, of Reisterstown, to serve one year in the Carroll County Detention Center for flinging a propane tank at a woman who bumped into him and using a former girlfriend?s credit card to pay for his cell phone bill.
Parrish still faces charges of false imprisonment, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and three counts of malicious destruction of property
