Crews working after power outage hits some D.C. traffic signals

Power was being restored Wednesday evening to about a dozen traffic signals across the District that went out in the afternoon.

The signals went out at about 3:30 p.m. and eight were still out as 6 p.m., District Department of Transportation spokesman John Lyle said.

A temporary power glitch caused the outage and the signals are in the process of being reset, Lyle said.
