A 47-year-old Silver Spring man was charged with assault with intent to commit murder during a road rage incident
U.S. Park Police said Andrew Dunn and another driver got into an argument Sunday on Powder Mill Road near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. The two exchanged words and then Dunn tried to run the other driver off the road, police said.
The victim followed Dunn and called 911. Both drivers stopped and Dunn pulled out a handgun and fired at the other driver, police said.
The gunfire did not strike the victim or the car.
