Observatory plans bring-your-own telescope night

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — An observatory about 20 miles southwest of downtown Wichita is inviting people to bring their own telescopes.

Friday’s event at the Lake Afton Public Observatory is billed as an opportunity for people to get help from members of the Kansas Astronomical Observers.
