President Trump shared a poll on Twitter Thursday that showed he was deemed the “better president” when compared to his predecessor, former President Barack Obama.

“Who is a better President of the United States? #ObamaDay,” Trump retweeted from Progress Polls.

The Aug. 4 poll concluded with 61 percent of the 28,589 votes going to Trump and 39 percent going toward Obama.

The Obama Day hashtag is a reference to a new law in Illinois that commemorates Obama’s birth in the Land of Lincoln.

Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner signed a bill last Friday that declared Aug. 4 “Obama Day.”
