Former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III has promised to release an “explosive tell-all” book about his experience with the franchise.
Griffin announced that he is co-writing the book Surviving Washington with veteran sportswriter Gary Myers, which details “the shocking mismanagement and toxic culture within the most dysfunctional professional football team in America.”

Griffin said the book will reveal the “medical mismanagement” of the knee injury he endured during his rookie season, as well as the sexual harassment which he said “permeated” the team. He added that the book would provide a “deep dive” into a power struggle between the team’s coach and the team’s owner, Daniel Snyder.
“Take this journey with me as I walk you through one of the most dysfunctional franchises in all of sports,” Griffin said in a Tuesday Twitter video announcing the book. “They say the truth will set you free, so here it is — unfiltered.”
