GOP megadonor Charles Koch sharply rebutted rumors that he is backing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, saying that any suggestion he is supporting Clinton is “blood libel,” according to a report in the Washington Post.
Koch was speaking before hundreds of donors at a retreat he sponsored in the Rocky Mountains. He has refused to support GOP nominee Donald Trump and has instead decided to focus efforts and funding on GOP congressional races.

Koch’s use of the term blood libel is a reference to a false accusation that Jews kidnapped and murdered Christian children to use their blood for religious rituals.
Koch elaborated that he is not going to support either Clinton or Trump. He added that “we’ve got to remember that Republican presidents advance a lot of bad policies, just like Democrats,” according to the Post report.
Koch officials also announced that their network of political groups will mention Clinton in campaigns that are in support of GOP Senate candidates, but said they are not running an “explicit effort to defeat Clinton,” the Post said.
