NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. (AP) — The makers of Jelly Belly candy say they’re reducing their workforce at the company’s North Chicago factory and will no longer make their famous jelly beans there.

Fairfield, California-based Jelly Belly Candy Company says a smaller number of North Chicago employees will continue to make private label and contract candies. The famous, multi-flavored jelly beans will be made at Jelly Belly’s California headquarters.
