ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Eclipse Aerospace is blaming market conditions for its decision to lay off a number of workers Friday.

A senior vice president with the company, Ed Lundeen, wouldn’t say exactly how many workers were affected. But city and state economic development officials say they have been told by the company it plans to hire more workers once the economy improves.
