DETROIT (AP) — Jury selection is underway for a Detroit contractor who is back in court after being sentenced to 21 years in prison in a different case.
Bobby Ferguson’s legal woes didn’t end with his conviction and sentence in a scheme to reap millions with the help of then-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. Prosecutors are putting him through another trial after a jury failed to reach a verdict in a bid-rigging case in 2012.
