UPMC to help develop, manage Lithuanian hospital

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center plans to help establish a 100-bed cancer hospital in Vilnius, Lithuania.

UPMC expects the deal to be signed Tuesday with GK Klinika Group, a private Lithuanian company that’s building the hospital. The deal will be formally announced in a visit by the Lithuanian prime minister, also Tuesday.
