WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats facing long odds of reclaiming their majority in the House outraised their Republican rivals in this election year’s first month and have banked more cash.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee said Thursday it raised $6.8 million in January and has $32.2 million in the bank. The National Republican Congressional Committee raised $6.1 million in January and $24 million in the bank.
