President Trump said Thursday he has high hopes Congress can write and pass a bill to protect recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, but said he need help from Democratic lawmakers.
“Hopefully everything is going to work out very well. I really want it to work out. I can tell you the Republicans wanna see it work out very well. If we have support from the Democrats, I think DACA’s going to be terrific,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Thursday.
