Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik criticized Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff’s handling of the Senate impeachment trial as “completely hypocritical.”
“If you take a step back and really remember the House impeachment proceedings, Republicans were not able to call our requested witnesses. So, Adam Schiff is being completely hypocritical,” Stefanik told Fox & Friends on Wednesday, responding to Schiff’s complaints that the impeachment process has not been fair.
