Passenger shot through Metrobus window

The routine rumble of a Metrobus was disrupted Sunday morning when a passenger was shot.

At around 6:30 a.m., police responded to the shooting at 37th Street Southeast and Ridge Road Southeast, close to the Benning Stoddert Recreation Center.

Clay said he was not prepared to release any names, nor did he know the bus route in question.</p> <p>However, the <a href=”http://wmata.com/bus/timetables/view.cfm?line=97&amp;x=53&amp;y=2″>U6 bus in the direction of Mayfair</a> is the only bus with a Sunday stop at 37th Street Southeast and Ridge Road Southeast, according to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transity Authority’s website.</p>
