Report: Passenger removed from flight after yelling at Ivanka Trump

A man was removed from a JetBlue flight for heckling Ivanka Trump during a flight out of New York Thursday morning, according to TMZ.

Trump was flying with her children and husband, Jared Kushner, when a man reportedly berated them.

“Your father is ruining the country,” the man said to Trump, according to TMZ. “Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private.”

A man named Matt Lasner tweeted on Thursday his husband was going to “harass” Trump and her husband upon spotting them in the airport and then later tweeted he was being removed from the flight. Lasner deleted his tweets after they began going viral.

In a statement, Jet Blue confirmed someone was removed from the flight, but didn’t say if the incident involved Trump.

“The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determined that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during the flight,” the company stated. “In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”
