Police said they are investigating damage to an under-construction mosque in Fairfax County.
Around 8:40 a.m. on Monday, police responded to the construction site of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Mosque, located at 4555 Ahmadiyya Drive. Police found extensive damage to the mosque but no sign that it had been entered, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police said they also found several discarded alcohol containers at the site.
