Prince George’s County police are investigating the homicide of a 92-year-old woman in Forestville.
Police said they received a call to check on the welfare of an elderly woman at a home in the 2900 block of East Avenue at about 8:30 Monday night.
Police found 92-year-old Thelma Elaine Steele dead inside the home. Police said she had suffered trauma to the body, but would not elaborate.
Police have no suspects or motives at this time, and the investigation continues.
