President Trump stepped up his confrontation with former President Barack Obama on Sunday, reminding the country of the time Obama sought to furtively assure the Russians that he could deal with them more amicably once he didn’t have to worry about politics.

“Who was it that secretly said to Russian President, ‘Tell Vladimir that after the election I’ll have more flexibility?'” Trump tweeted early Sunday morning.
