Man who threatened IRS agent’s life sentenced

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — A Rhode Island man has been sentenced to a year in federal prison for threatening to kill an Internal Revenue Service agent and rape and kill his wife over a $330,000 tax bill.

Forty-nine-year-old Andrew Calcione, of Cranston, was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court. A judge found him guilty in May.
