PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — Weekly public tours at the South Dakota Governor’s Mansion are set to start in June.

This is the third season for the tours, and First Lady Linda Daugaard says she and Gov. Dennis Daugaard are happy to open up the mansion to the public.

The weekly tours start June 5 and will be conducted each Wednesday in June, July and August. There will be no tour on July 3. The final tour of the summer will be on Aug. 28.

Free tickets for the 30-minute mansion tours must be obtained in advance from the Pierre Chamber of Commerce.
