Trump appoints Sarah Sanders to Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board

President Trump selected Sarah Sanders to serve on the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Board, returning the former White House press secretary to public service.

Sanders, 37, worked in the White House for over three years before leaving the post early this summer. Known for sparring with the press and being the target of sharp criticism, Sanders remained a favorite among the president’s supporters. She received a warm farewell from Trump upon her official exit in July and expressed gratitude to the president for her new posting on the Fulbright Board.” Grateful to @realDonaldTrump to be named to the @fulbrightboard – established by the late U.S. Senator from my home state of Arkansas,” Sanders tweeted late Wednesday evening.
