Jay Z to host free Clinton concert in Ohio

Jay Z will hold a free concert in Cleveland just days before the election to help get out the vote for Hillary Clinton.

According to a Tuesday press release from the Clinton campaign, Jay Z will be joined by a number of special guests at the event in the must-win state of Ohio on Nov. 4.

The bestselling rapper and his wife Beyonce have been very public supporters of President Obama, but have not been as outspoken about the current Democratic presidential nominee. According to CNN, Beyonce attended a 2015 Clinton fundraiser but has yet to perform on the candidate’s behalf.

The event is specifically intended to target young black voters, as Clinton has struggled to maintain enthusiasm among this significant electoral demographic. Clinton has recruited pop stars like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and John Legend to encourage millennials to vote for her on election day.
