Russia’s new ambassador said Moscow and the United States should resume top-level diplomatic talks between defense and foreign policy chiefs, according to a report.

Renewed cooperation between the two countries could help help fight terrorism and cyber threats as well as foster stability, Anatoly Antonov told a Russian-language newspaper on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
