Pritzker again says Madigan should answer questions or resign

Gov. J.B. Pritzker again said on Thursday that embattled Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan must answer questions about his involvement with Commonwealth Edison or resign.

Pritzker was asked about Madigan after Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said the longtime Chicago Democrat needed to go. The comments come as Madiga’s support among members of his own party is in question.
