California state universities cancel in-person classes through fall semester

The California State University system will cancel most of its in-person classes through the fall semester to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

The 23-campus system, the largest four-year public university system in the country, will offer instruction primarily online, Chancellor Timothy White announced at a board of trustees meeting on Tuesday.
