Former tech executive Andrew Yang made a point on healthcare incentives with a self-deprecating ethnic joke at the third Democratic debate.
Yang walked onto the stage in Houston with nine other Democratic presidential candidates for the third debate of the primary Thursday. Early in the debate, Yang popped off about his race while talking about his plan for healthcare reform.

“Now I am Asian, so I know a lot of doctors and they tell me that they spend a lot of time on paperwork, avoiding being sued, and navigating the insurance bureaucracy. We have to change the incentives so instead of the revenue and activity, people are focused on our health and the healthcare system,” Yang said.
Earlier, Yang had announced a $120,000 raffle to 10 randomly selected families who visit his website.
