A Fort Washington man was killed early Saturday in a shooting in the District.
D.C. police said 32-year-old David A. Matthews was found suffering gunshot wounds on the 5600 block of North Capitol Street NW at about 12:30 a.m. Investigators later determined that the shooting took place a block away, on the unit block of Longfellow Street NW, police said.
Matthews was taken to a hospital, where he died.
No arrests have been made in the case.
