Police said the officer exchanged gun fire with several suspects in a car, hitting two suspects before the car drove away. Later, one of the suspects admitted himself to Shock Trauma for treatment and is now being questioned by police. Police have impounded the vehicle believed to have been driven by the suspects.
Arthur was taken to shock trauma, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“At this point it appears he will be okay,” said police spokesman Nicole Monroe. “We don’t have all the details yet on how the shooting occurred.”
