Pedestrian fatally struck in Aspen Hill

A pedestrian died after being hit by a passenger vehicle in Montgomery County, police said.

Jose Santiago, 79, of Aspen Hill, was hit in the collision around mid-day Wednesday and succumbed to his injuries later in the evening at Suburban Hospital, Montgomery County police said.
