Trump faces enthusiasm gap in Texas

Donald Trump is statistically tied with Hillary Clinton in Texas with fewer than two weeks before Election Day, and has a major problem with enthusiasm among Republican voters, according to a new poll.

Trump leads Clinton by 3 percentage points, 45-42, in a new University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll that has a 3.16 percentage point margin of error. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson polled at 7 percent and the Green Party’s Jill Stein got just 2 percent.
