Ecuador ends all incoming and outgoing communications for WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange

Ecuador has cut off all incoming and outgoing communication for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who is staying at the country’s embassy in London, according to multiple reports.

Assange has been staying at the embassy house since June 2012 after Swedish authorities tried to extradite him over sexual assault and rape charges regarding his earlier stay in Sweden.

The case was dropped last year. However, a British warrant over Assange’s breaching the 2012 bail conditions is still valid.
