Town hall for Md. crime victims Tuesday night

Crime victims in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties can voice their opinions and concerns at a town hall meeting Tuesday night in Silver Spring.

The Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention is hosting the meeting, which will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Center, 8525 Fenton St.

A panel of state and local law enforcement officials will listen to the victims’ views and suggestions.

Victims and their families who wish to speak can sign up in advance with Anne Marie Litecky, the state victim services coordinator, at 410-821-2840 or [email protected]. People can also sign up at the door; registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Each person will will have five minutes to speak.
