TOWSON, Md. (AP) — State police say a motorcyclist was killed when he crashed his bike into the rear of a car on Interstate 83 just north of Baltimore.
Police say 32-year-old Marcell Smith of Baltimore was speeding when he rear-ended the car around 1:30 Sunday morning. He was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene.
Police say Smith had a small amount of marijuana on him. An autopsy will determine whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured.
