Harry Truman once said, “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog,” and the staff in the office of Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., listened.
Oliver, a cocker spaniel who goes to work every day in the Cannon House Office Building, belongs to communications director Sheryl Kaufman and brings joy to many on Capitol Hill, including the staff in neighboring offices and security guards who give him a scratch as he heads out for his mid-day walk.
