Google should “fix” what appears when people search for “Hillary Clinton illness,” according to Farhad Manjoo, a technology columnist for the New York Times.
On Sunday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said on Fox News that viewers should search for references to Clinton’s health problems. “Go online and put down, ‘Hillary Clinton illness,’ and take a look at the videos yourself,” Giuliani said.

Google has come under fire in recent months over allegations that it manipulates certain functions to favor liberals, such as scrubbing “autocomplete” suggestions of negative references when users search for Democratic candidates. The search giant has denied having any bias and taken corrective actions to deter the criticism.
Manjoo has produced reams of literature on the subject of online speech regulation, arguing in his 2008 book True Enough that it would be especially good for conservatives, who he said were the most politically isolated. “Numerous psychological studies … show conservatives to be much more willing to consume media that toe the ideological line,” Manjoo wrote.
