The Columbia Association will celebrate the opening of the new Wilde Lake Arboretum on Arbor Day next week.
The arboretum, on the north side of Wilde Lake, is being created in a partnership with the Howard County Forestry Board and Howard County Government.
The opening ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. April 27 at the Wilde Lake Boathouse, 10027 Hyla Brook Road.
