Maryland state police were searching Monday for the culprit in at least four armed robberies during the weekend in southern Carroll County.
Police said a knife-wielding man robbed the High’s convenience store around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Klee Mill and Liberty roads and then within three hours Sunday morning robbed a Royal Farms convenience store in Gamber and a 7-11 convenience store on Woodbine Road.

A fourth robbery occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Domino’s Pizza in a Mount Airy shopping center on Route 27 at Ridgeville Boulevard, police said.
Witnesses told police the suspect wore a camouflage jacket and covered part of his face when entering the store with a rifle and ordering everyone to lie on the floor while he collected the money.
Investigators said they believe the same suspect was involved in a similar robbery at a High’s store in Sykesville two weeks ago.
No injuries were reported during any of the robberies and no shots were fired, police said.
Anyone with information should call state police at 410-386-3000.
