EL PASO, Texas (AP) — West Texas health officials are testing some infants for tuberculosis after they revealed last week that more than 700 of the babies may have been exposed at an El Paso hospital to a hospital worker found to have TB.
The children were potentially exposed at a nursery in the Providence Memorial Hospital of El Paso between September 2013 and last month. The health care worker tested positive for tuberculosis late last month.
