Mike Pence to speak at NRA conference next month

Vice President Mike Pence will address members of the National Rifle Association next month at the organization’s 147th annual legislative action conference in Dallas.

Pence spokeswoman Alyssa Farah confirmed the details of the vice president’s upcoming appearance Tuesday. The conference comes just two months after a school shooting in Parkland, Fla., thrust the NRA into the national spotlight, forcing the pro-gun organization to respond to calls for new restrictions on firearm ownership in the U.S.
