A man entered the Virginia Commerce Bank at 1356 Chain Bridge Road in McLean, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The robbery occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

He was described as possibly black, 35 to 40 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, between 220 and 230 pounds. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket, dark blue pants and dark shoes. The lower portion of his face was covered by some type of cloth.
